Media Hides Crucial Truth About Minneapolis School Shooter

Robert “Robin” Westman, a biological male who identified as female, carried out the shocking attack during a back-to-school Mass. Two young lives were cut short, while 17 others—14 children and three adults—were left wounded. By the time police arrived, Westman had turned the gun on himself, ensuring there would be no trial, no interrogation, and no opportunity for Americans to hear from the killer’s own mouth what motivated this act of terror.

But while law enforcement is still compiling its findings, the shooter’s own materials already tell a story that the mainstream press doesn’t want to cover. Videos emerged showing Westman’s weapons, ammunition, and carefully written manifesto. These weren’t the actions of someone who “snapped.” They were the preparations of a radicalized individual steeped in hate.

What the press is reluctant to admit is that Westman’s writings were riddled with venom toward Catholics, hostility toward Christianity as a whole, and open contempt for President Donald Trump. The shooter’s manifesto reportedly included antisemitic ramblings and deranged anti-Trump tirades. Perhaps the most disturbing revelation: one of Westman’s magazines was inscribed with the words “kill Donald Trump.” That alone makes the shooter’s political orientation clear—but some outlets decided the public didn’t need to know.

ABC News ignored the “kill Trump” detail altogether. Instead, the coverage from establishment networks framed the shooting as yet another “tragic mystery,” with commentators wondering aloud if “video games” or “online culture” might somehow explain it. MSNBC even ran a segment speculating whether “too much internet” could have radicalized Westman, reducing a hateful and premeditated anti-Christian assault into the same tired narrative of cultural confusion.

The problem for the media is that this story doesn’t fit their preferred script. If the killer had scrawled “kill Biden” on the ammunition or targeted a liberal institution, there would be wall-to-wall coverage declaring that conservative rhetoric was to blame. Democrats in Congress would be drafting new gun restrictions overnight, blaming Republicans for “stoking hate.” Instead, because the shooter identified as transgender, targeted Catholics, and expressed hatred toward Trump, the press has gone silent on motive.

This selective reporting is why trust in the mainstream media continues to collapse. Americans know they aren’t getting the full truth. The facts are there, but journalists would rather conceal them than risk undermining their preferred political narrative.

Meanwhile, the victims and their families are left in the shadows of this media cover-up. Two children are dead. Dozens of families are reeling from trauma. And yet the media is more concerned about protecting its progressive allies than telling the public what really happened. This refusal to acknowledge the anti-Trump and anti-Christian hatred behind the attack insults the memory of the victims and keeps Americans in the dark about the real threats facing communities.

The hypocrisy couldn’t be clearer. When the narrative points toward conservative blame, reporters can’t get enough of it. When the evidence shows a transgender shooter targeting Christians and openly writing anti-Trump slogans, the story gets buried, sanitized, or spun into something unrecognizable.

This isn’t just bias—it’s propaganda. Americans deserve honesty about why these attacks are happening and who is committing them. The truth is that leftist hate, transgender extremism, and anti-Christian bigotry are fueling violence across the country. Until the media admits that, they will remain complicit in keeping Americans unsafe.
