Rosie O’Donnell Pins Texas Floods On Trump

Rosie O’Donnell, now living in Ireland, posted a TikTok blaming President Trump for the devastating Texas flash floods that have killed at least 70 people and left many missing, including children at a Christian summer camp. The floods saw the Guadalupe River rise 26 feet in just 45 minutes, sweeping away cars, homes, and lives.

In her video, O’Donnell accused Trump of gutting the nation’s “early warning systems” and “weather forecast abilities,” claiming the tragedy is the type of disaster Americans will see “on a daily basis” because Trump has “put this country in so much danger.” She attacked Trump’s recently signed “Big, Beautiful Bill” and called it “immoral,” insisting “people will die as a result.”

“What a horror story in Texas,” O’Donnell said, adding, “Shame on him. Shame on every GOP sycophant who’s listening and following the disastrous decisions of this mentally incapacitated POTUS.”

As usual, Hollywood elites ignore facts while pushing their political narratives. The National Weather Service, despite O’Donnell’s claims, had extra staff on duty during the storms and issued multiple flash flood warnings and rare flash flood emergencies ahead of the disaster. These facts undercut O’Donnell’s claim that Trump’s budget cuts hindered weather warnings.

Local officials are now under scrutiny for why some summer camps and residents weren’t evacuated sooner, despite federal warnings being issued well in advance. The tragic loss includes 21 children and the deaths of camp leaders like Richard “Dick” Eastland, who died trying to save children at Camp Mystic, and Jane Ragsdale, who led Heart O’ the Hills Camp.

While O’Donnell points the finger at Trump, many Americans see the real issues: local and state failures to heed clear warnings and a media class eager to blame everything on the president instead of addressing real accountability. It’s easier for the left to screech about Trump than to confront the environmental mismanagement, zoning failures, and policy negligence in Democrat-led states that leave communities vulnerable to natural disasters.

Rosie O’Donnell’s meltdown reveals the desperation of the Hollywood elite, willing to politicize the deaths of children to attack Trump rather than demanding better preparedness and accountability from local leaders. Her baseless blame game is an insult to families grieving the loss of loved ones while ignoring the heroic rescue efforts by first responders and volunteers on the ground.

Conservatives should see this as another example of the left’s refusal to face reality. Instead of using tragedy to push anti-Trump narratives, America needs real solutions to protect families from disasters, hold local leaders accountable, and improve infrastructure where it matters. The lives lost in Texas deserve better than to be used as pawns in Rosie O’Donnell’s political rants.
