President Donald Trump did not mince words on Tuesday.

A reporter asked for Trump’s response to Alyssa Farah Griffin’s comments. Griffin is a co-host on The View. She worked in Trump’s previous administration.

Griffin said she would wear a MAGA hat if Trump successfully got all Israeli hostages released from Gaza. This occurred on Monday.

Trump alleged that Griffin sent him letters praising him before joining The View. It has not been confirmed whether she sent him any letters.

“I’ll tell you about Alyssa. She worked here, she gave me the most beautiful letter when the time came up, the election was rigged, I left. She gave me the most beautiful letter you’ve ever seen. I was ‘a great president. What a great job.’ Some of the letters have been quoted, this is Alyssa, who I never thought was very outstanding. I figured she would not make it. And she didn’t have a big role here either. And then we had January 6 and she left after that or before that. But she gave me the most beautiful letters. And even the months after she left and while we weren’t here any longer, she sent other letters. [A] glowing letter, [a] beautiful letter. And then she got hired by The View and they gave her a couple of bucks and she changed her view very quickly.”

“I never thought she would make it. I never thought she had what it took in any way. But she’s on The View. But it just shows what a fraud The View is.”

Griffin has not yet lived up to her pledge from January. She promised to wear a MAGA hat if Trump got the hostages released. Despite Trump having gotten the 20 living Israeli hostages in Hamas captivity released, she has not worn the hat.

The hostages’ freedom is part of the first phase of Trump’s peace agreement. The agreement also includes the withdrawal of Israeli troops to a designated line.

Following the peace deal, Griffin stated that Trump and the administration deserve tremendous credit for the achievement.

Griffin worked as a press secretary for former Vice President Mike Pence. She served as a special assistant to Trump from October 2017 to September 2019. She then served as a press secretary for the Department of Defense.

After leaving the administration in 2021, she joined The View. She became a harsh critic of her former boss.

Griffin did not respond to the Daily Caller News Foundation’s request for comment.

The View co-host warned on several occasions that Trump was wholly unfit to be president. She stated on the program that she voted for former Vice President Kamala Harris in the previous election.

She stated on Election Day that Trump is the most dangerous man to ever serve as president. She said this during a segment on The View.

Trump’s comments expose Griffin’s hypocrisy perfectly. She sent him glowing letters praising him as a great president. She did this even after leaving the administration. She called him a great president and said he did a great job.

Then The View hired her. They gave her a couple of bucks as Trump said. Suddenly she changed her entire view of Trump. She became one of his harshest critics.

This shows Griffin lacks integrity. She will say whatever benefits her career at the moment. When she worked for Trump, she praised him. When The View hired her, she attacked him.

Trump is right that this shows what a fraud The View is. The show hires people to attack Trump regardless of their actual beliefs. They pay them to change their views.

Griffin promised to wear a MAGA hat if Trump freed the hostages. Trump delivered on this impossible task. He negotiated the release of all 20 living Israeli hostages from Hamas.

But Griffin has not kept her promise. She has not worn a MAGA hat. She gave Trump credit for the achievement but won’t honor her pledge.

This is typical of anti-Trump media figures. They make promises they never intend to keep. They hope people forget what they said.

Trump never thought Griffin was very outstanding. He never thought she had what it took. She didn’t have a big role in his administration.

After January 6, she left and started attacking him. But before that, she sent beautiful glowing letters. She praised him as a great president even months after leaving.

Griffin’s transformation proves she is a fraud. She doesn’t have real principles or beliefs. She says whatever helps her career.

The View hired her to attack Trump. So that’s what she does now. It doesn’t matter what she really thinks or what she said in her letters.

Trump exposed Griffin’s duplicity. He revealed that she sent him glowing praise. Then she got paid by The View to attack him. She changed her views for money.
