Biden’s Autopen Scandal Could Lead To Prosecutions

A new poll reveals that a majority of Americans believe Joe Biden’s staff used the presidential autopen to sign official documents without his knowledge or approval. Even more striking, most voters think those responsible should face criminal prosecution.

According to Rasmussen Reports, 55 percent of likely voters say it’s likely that Biden’s aides used the autopen to sign key documents behind the president’s back. That includes 40 percent who believe it is “very likely.”

Only 33 percent say they don’t believe the White House staffers acted without Biden’s permission, and another 12 percent say they’re not sure.

“Fifty-two percent (52%) of voters believe that Biden’s aides should be criminally prosecuted for unauthorized actions during his administration,” the report stated. “Thirty-two percent (32%) disagree and 17 percent are not sure.”

The results show that just one in three Americans opposes criminal charges, a stunning number given the seriousness of the allegations.

Majorities of white and Hispanic voters support prosecutions — 53 and 56 percent, respectively — and even a large share of black voters, 45 percent, agree that criminal action is warranted. Only 34 percent of black respondents opposed prosecution.

The survey, which polled over 1,100 likely voters, comes shortly after a congressional investigation uncovered evidence that members of Biden’s staff may have used the autopen to sign major executive actions without the president’s awareness.

These included presidential pardons and commutations that were supposedly issued directly by Biden. Lawmakers say the documents appear to bear a mechanical signature rather than the president’s own hand.

Investigators claim that aides “used the presidential autopen, a mechanical device that replicates signatures, to sign off on some of these actions without his knowledge.”

If true, the discovery could mean that unelected staffers were effectively operating as the president — approving actions that carry the full legal weight of the Oval Office without authority from the commander-in-chief.

This revelation has outraged voters who see it as a direct assault on democratic accountability. Critics say it undermines the principle that only an elected president — not anonymous aides — has the power to govern.

One committee member involved in the investigation called it “the ultimate betrayal of trust.”

“We’re talking about official documents — some involving pardons and federal decisions — being signed as if the president himself approved them. That is not only dishonest but potentially criminal,” the source said.

The use of the autopen has been common for routine correspondence, but it has never been alleged to have been used without presidential authorization on matters of national significance.

If these reports are verified, it could represent one of the most serious breaches of executive authority in modern history.

The Rasmussen poll reflects growing anger across the country over the sense that unelected bureaucrats are making decisions without oversight or accountability.

Even some Democrats have begun to acknowledge that the allegations raise serious constitutional questions about who was really in charge inside Biden’s White House.

For millions of Americans, it’s another sign of a government that has drifted too far from the people it’s supposed to serve.

And now, with the majority calling for criminal prosecutions, pressure is mounting for lawmakers to ensure someone is held responsible for what many see as a deliberate act of deception inside the Oval Office.
